With our first son on the way, my wife and I embarked on building our own dream home. We found the perfect plot of land just outside Austin and got to work. Having completed three live-and-flip homes and remodeled dozens more, we knew what we loved and were ready to make it our reality. The cliché is true when they say that “blood, sweat, and tears” went into this build, but it was all worth it to see our hill country ranch house take shape. Not long after we welcomed baby boy into the world, we put the finishing touches on our home and started our family.
