NEW "ADDITIONS"

A complete gut renovation and addition allowed this growing family to turn their outdated 1990’s Southwest Austin home into their forever home. With a new baby on the way for this young couple we navigated the ins and outs of pregnancy as well as the construction process, turning this outdated 2000 sq.ft. home into an inviting 2800 sq.ft. oasis with relaxing space for the new parents as well as a play area for the kiddos.

We gutted almost the entire house while also pouring the foundation for the new addition in the rear of the house, that way all new framing could take place simultaneously. To achieve their new layout of a larger living room and play area, we successfully removed a 30ft wide load-bearing wall and incorporated new recessed beams to distribute the weight. We moved plumbing, electrical, and hvac throughout the house to accommodate the new architectural design. We added many new windows throughout the house to bring in natural light. We built an entirely new master suite complete with a large new shower, body sprays, lighted mirrors, custom cabinets, walk-in closet, and even a secret door to easily access the laundry room from the master closet. We completely redesigned the kitchen for a more modern appeal and an island with many uses. We installed new flooring, new cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, hardware, paint, and finish outs throughout. It was an entirely new house from within. We also incorporated an area for the owner's homemade beer making endeavors, as well as a 20' long shuffleboard for the local neighborhood gatherings they loved to host. TURNERound Construction Co. was thrilled to have another successful project and happy clients.
